Electromagnetic Flow Meter
A magnetic flow meter, technically known as an Electromagnetic Flow Meter, works by applying a magnetic field to the metering tube.
This creates a potential difference proportional to the flow velocity and provides maintenance-free performance because there are no moving parts.
Technical Requirements
- Electromagnetic Flow Meters and accessories shall operate continuously at ambient temperatures of 0-55”ĘC for transmitter and -20”ĘC to 100”ĘC for transducer.
- All accessories required for erection, installation and system completion shall be supplied.
- Electromagnetic flow meters are available in Full Bore and Insertion Type designs.
- Insertion Type flow meters measure velocity at a single point and include complete mounting accessories.
- Material of all fixtures shall be SS-316.
Guarantee & Performance
The guarantee of Electromagnetic Flow Meter shall be 18 months from dispatch or 12 months from commissioning, whichever is earlier.
